Pastor Kevin Roach Sr. the son of the late Mary E Hampton and the late James F Roach of Canton Georgia was born in Tate, Pickens County Georgia. He received his primary and secondary education from Cherokee County High School in Canton Georgia, graduating in 1979.
Upon graduating from high school, Pastor Roach joined the U S Army, proudly serving for 13 years and was honorably discharged. Pastor Roach received his calling into the ministry in May 1982 under the leadership of the late Pastor/Founder/Overseer Mary B Montgomery at Ambassadors For Jesus Christ Ministries in Fayetteville North Carolina.
Prior to his calling into the ministry, Pastor Roach served as deacon and youth leader at Ambassadors For Jesus Christ Ministries. After being honorably discharged from the U S Army, Pastor Roach joined Olivine Missionary Baptist Church in Canton Georgia under the pastorate of the late Reverend Allen Patrick, serving as associate minister. After the passing of Reverend Patrick, Pastor Roach joined Hickory Log Missionary Baptist in Canton Georgia under the pastorate of the late Reverend Robert Holmes.
Pastor Roach is currently a member of Hickory Log Missionary Baptist Church where the Reverend Justin D Lee serves as the pastor. In October 1993, Pastor Roach became the interim pastor at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Summerville Georgia, and on the first Sunday in March 1994, he was installed as the pastor. Pastor Roach has served faithfully as the pastor of the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church for over 32 years, and he is a two-term moderator of the First North Georgia Baptist Association.
Under the leadership of Pastor Roach, New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church has grown tremendously in faith, wisdom, knowledge and in number. Many lives have been changed and many souls have been converted. Pastor Roach is very passionate about training, Bible study, and preaching dynamic sermons under the anointing of the Holy Ghost. In many of Pastor Roach’s sermons, props and demonstrations are used and audiences are captivated. One Pastor Roach’s favorite scriptures are 2nd Timothy 4:2, Preach the word of God, be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not.
Pastor Roach’s main goals are to serve God faithfully, and to build God’s kingdom by bringing as many souls Jesus by the service he gives and the life he lives.
